Subscription-based, online sports training and marketing automation platform, bookacoach of Indianapolis, IN, announced today that former ExactTarget Executive, Joanna Milliken, has been nominated for appointment to its Board of Directors. Her appointment is subject to Board approval, which is being sought at the company’s Directors meeting in May.
“We look forward to benefiting from Joanna’s significant business experience and invaluable perspective as a little league parent in developing bookacoach’s SaaS platform,” said bookacoach’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Kevin MacCauley.
Milliken joined ExactTarget as its first employee in 2001. ExactTarget went on to be one of the largest cloud IPOs on the New York Stock Exchange in 2012, followed by salesforce.com’s $2.5 billion acquisition of ExactTarget in 2013.
During her tenure at ExactTarget, Milliken held multiple executive positions in sales, services, and product. Milliken laid the foundation for a sustainable services model and scaled account management, professional services, and technical support teams to be able to support thousands of global customers. In her last few years with ExactTarget, she directed its $300M email product line and in 2011 was honored with the Rainmaker Award for the success of the new applications she launched. Milliken also designed and delivered ExactTarget's first online community that supports over 36,000 users. She currently holds a position as Senior Director of Product Marketing at Monetate and advises several private companies.
