CTO Brings Big Changes to Sports Management Software

A letter from Upper Hand CTO, Jason Rogers

Dear Upper Hand, Inc. Customers and Partners, 

As I look forward to Upper Hand’s future growth, I am truly looking forward to developing and enhancing easy-to-use sports management software solutions to ensure that our customers’ experiences with Upper Hand are unparalleled.

My decision to join the Upper Hand team comes from my deeply rooted passion for sports and technology. At Upper Hand, we are bringing sports and technology together, to provide sports businesses with a single platform to manage their athletic programs, camps and trainings.

We have been gathering insight directly from both small and enterprise sports facility owners, as well as coaches, trainers and sports camp managers to discover - What are our customers priorities? What are their pain-points? What do they need from sports management software to make their day-to-day office tasks, easy and efficient?

We are excited to be bringing multiple enhancements and modifications to the Upper Hand software in the coming months. Through conversations with our customers and other sports industry professionals, our engineer team is building and integrating insanely valuable online tools for sports businesses.

For example, the Upper Hand software is allowing for event creation and registration unparalleled in the market today, built from years of customer feedback. As customers work to schedule camps and training with athletes and their parents, our sports management software is making it simple to organize customer data with the sports industry in mind, accounting for each customer’s unique sport needs.

In addition to continuing our dialogue with our customers, it is also my priority to increase Upper Hand’s constant presence within the tech scene. As CTO, I am ready to lead our technical innovation charge, building our presence in the rich culture that is gaining momentum. By being a part of the ongoing tech conversation, we not only open up opportunities for Upper Hand to thrive, but also, opportunities for our customers to thrive as we bring them cutting-edge solutions for better sports management.
